2020 Appreciation Night Article

This season, the Janksters held their annual Appreciation Night virtually through Zoom on May 26th. The team showcased their appreciation for mentors, parents, sponsors, and teammates through slides and videos for all the work contributed this past year. Awards were given to students to recognize outstanding rookies, spirit, dedication, and gracious professionalism. Appreciation Night also included celebrating the nine graduating seniors. Although the whole team could not congratulate the Janksters from the class of 2020 in person, the team compiled personalized music videos for the seniors to thank them for their contributions to the Robotics team. 

Despite this being the first event to be held online, the Janksters pulled through and adapted quickly to the COVID-19 pandemic. With good communication and planning, the team managed to successfully hold a memorable event for all parents, mentors, friends, and alumnae who attended.
