It’s that season of the year again - FIRST Robotics Competition Build Season- in which the Janksters build a new robot for this year's competition, Stronghold.
2015 Young Women's Engineering Symposium (YWES)
This weekend, exceptional Jankster members, Anisha Patel (Class of 2016) and Kimberly Zhang (Class of 2016), planned the annual Young Women's Engineering Symposium, in which 9 female engineers ran workshops with high school girls interested in engineering, empowering young women in STEM.
2015 FLL at Intel
The Janksters had a wonderful time this weekend helping children in FLL (FIRST Lego League) at Intel during their "Trash Trek" challenge.
2015 October Projects
The Janksters' are divided into six teams with three weeks to build and present a machine that shoots a tennis ball, ping pong ball, or hacky sac, giving them a preview of Build Season.
2015 CalGames
On October 2-3, the Notre Dame Robotics Team attended CalGames, an annual off season competition held in the Bay Area.
2015 Spotlight Week
The Janksters had a great Spotlight Week this year at Notre Dame High School where, they highlighted the various aspects of Robotics.
2015 Boot Camp
The Janksters throw their third annual Robotics Boot Camp, teaching incoming and current students of Notre Dame about the community and skills.
10 Year Anniversary
On Saturday, August 8, Team 1967 The Janksters celebrated their 10 year anniversary at Notre Dame High School with a gathering of alumnae, mentors, and memorabilia from past years
2015 Bring Your Kid to Work Day
On Thursday, June 25, The Janksters attended Bring Your Kid to Work Day at Intel, where they showcased their robot to employees and their children.
2015 Team Social
On Friday, April 3rd, The Janksters had a blast at the Team Social with Space Cookies Robotics Team 1868, “Rockin” Bots Team 2035, Presentation Invasion Team 2135, Carrillo Cybernetics Team 5728 , and Mars Style Team 5737
